"Organic, Sustainable & Stunning"
Our time at Waruka Bay Resort was the standout highlight of our recent trip to Fiji. Wanting to escape the commercial cliche mould that most of Fiji tourism adhere’s to we found it refreshing to stay at a place that truly was a sustainable paradise. The bures are massive and absolute beachfront. The architecture was a gorgeous blend between traditional Fijian and modern luxury but eco design aspect high ceilings and louvre windows allowed good airflow and a comfortable cool temperature inside the rooms without the need for air conditioning. The whole resort was running off solar power and the materials they used for construction are from sustainable farming crops grown on the island giving much needed income to the local villages.. The food was the highlight, the all organic cuisine was beyond our expectations. The seafood, the fresh juices, fruit platters all grown onsite and all fruit and veg is harvested as you order... They promoted they’re free refills of oxygenated spring water in stead of buying plastic bottle “Fiji Water”.. we only stayed 5 nights this time around but we’ll be back next year for sure
